The invitation letter

Invitation Portugal Saturday 26th of April till Monday the 5th of may 2008
Aleksandra Martinovska, Anna Brandt, Caroline Bate, Catrin Jones, Ellen Reilink, Emma Beardshaw, Ferenc Kereszturi, Frank Druyff, Ida de Bruin, Maaike Krijgsheld, Koen Nahuis, Marco Janssen, Maurice Bolenius, Mona Dozeman, Oscar van Wees, Otto de Groot, Martijn Ilsink and Ruben Booijink.
Who?: All participants of the International Agri-food production and marketing B.Sc. course 1996-1998 and their partners and children
When: Everybody is welcome between the 26th of April and the 5th of May. At least in the weekend we will try to get everybody together and this will be the 2nd, 3rd and 4th of May 2008. So if you have a hard time to get off from work in the period mentioned above, at least try to come this weekend, so that we all can meet.
Where: Pegoes-Velhos, Portugal. Koen and Maaike’s place
Why: In 2008 it’s been ten years since we’ve finished our course. At that time we’ve all said what we were expecting to be doing in ten years time. In 2008 we’ll make an opportunity to see what we are doing and with whom.
Sleeping: At our place:
We can offer three (bed)rooms (max. about four persons per bedroom), one family tent (for six persons), plenty of space for more tents in our garden.
Nearby:
There is one house for rent (about 10 persons, 3km) from us, for €15 per person per night.
For people who need more luxury there is a hotel (5km) for €40,- per night for a double bedroom
People who like to stay at our place can make a reservation. Who first makes the reservations will get the rooms, the rest has to camp outside. (This is really nice, because the weather is always lovely in April and May).
Why such an early invitation?
Everybody is very busy with their life, lots of things to do and places to go. We hope that with this early invitation as many persons as possible will have the opportunity to come in 2008. Please return the following form as soon as possible. In that way we can already see who is interested and who is not. Make sure to fill in your right address and e-mail address so we can keep you informed about the progress of the reunion.
